Wind Damage Roof Repair

Wind damage rarely looks dramatic from the driveway. A gust gets under a shingle edge, creases it, and breaks the seal strip. The shingle may lie back down and look fine, but the bond is broken, and the next storm lifts it further. Damage compounds quietly until water finds the opening.

The edges and ridges take the worst of it: rakes, eaves, hips, and anything near a roof plane change. We also check flashing, ridge caps, and gutters, because wind that damages shingles usually left fingerprints elsewhere too.

When the damage came from a named storm, we photograph everything with dates, because that documentation is what an insurance claim stands on. Then we repair what can be repaired, and if a slope or a whole roof is past saving, you'll hear that from us first.
