Spray Foam Roof Coating

For flat and low-slope commercial roofs, spray polyurethane foam does two jobs at once: a continuous, self-flashing waterproof layer with no seams, plus real insulation value, applied over your existing roof.

One system, two jobs

Spray polyurethane foam goes on as a liquid and expands into a rigid, closed-cell layer that bonds to the existing roof. There are no seams, because the whole roof becomes one piece. It flows around curbs, drains, and penetrations, which are exactly the places flat roofs leak.

The insulation is not a side effect, it is half the value. Closed-cell foam carries roughly R-6 per inch, so a couple of inches over an old deck changes what the building costs to heat and cool. A protective coating over the foam handles sun and weather, and that coating is renewable.

Foam is right for some buildings and wrong for others. Wet insulation under the existing roof, certain deck types, and heavy rooftop traffic all change the answer. We assess first, and if foam is not the right system for your building, we'll tell you what is.

How we work

  1. 1

    Assessment and moisture scan

Cleaning, minor repairs, and masking so overspray never reaches cars or walls.

  3. 3

    Foam and coating application

Foam sprayed to the specified thickness, then the protective coating over it.

  4. 4

    Inspection and warranty

Thickness checks, final walkthrough, and documentation in writing.

Frequently asked questions

What R-value does spray foam roofing add?

Closed-cell roofing foam runs roughly R-6 per inch. Two inches adds about R-12 over the whole roof, which building owners see in their heating and cooling bills.

Will the work shut my building down?

Almost never. Application happens from the roof, section by section. We coordinate around loading docks, air intakes, and parking so the business keeps running underneath us.
