What a metal replacement involves
Replacing a roof with metal is a bigger decision than swapping like for like, and it deserves a contractor who does this work every week. We handle the whole scope: tear-off, decking inspection and repair, underlayment, ice and water protection at the eaves and valleys, then the panel system you chose.
The tear-off question matters. Codes sometimes allow installing metal over one existing shingle layer, and in the right conditions that saves disposal cost. But overlays can trap moisture and hide rot. We inspect first and give you a straight recommendation, and most of the time the right answer is a clean tear-off.
